MIES (Switzerland) - The Basketball Champions League Season Six starts next week. There are eight groups of four teams, the first three will advance to the next phase, with the group winners going straight into the Round of 16, while the second- and third-placed teams advancing to the Play-In series for their spot in the sweet sixteen group stage.

Group H is bringing the defending champions to the League, with Hereda San Pablo Burgos ready for a three-peat. Besiktas Icrypex's strong domestic 2020-21 season saw the Turkish juggernauts back to the BCL in 2021-22, and same goes for EWE Baskets Oldenburg, who saw the Play-Offs twice in this competition. Rytas Vilnius closed the 2020-21 season impressively in Lithuania, giving them another chance to prove their worth in BCL.
