Worldwide talent: BCL represented by 30 players at the FIBA Basketball World Cup

MIES (Switzerland) - The FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 tipped off on Friday, moving all of the attention of the basketball world to Japan, Indonesia and the Philippines for the next two and a half weeks.

The level of the competition looks promising, with a record 55 active NBA players coming to the summit, while the Spanish Liga Endesa is home to 37 players at this World Cup. The Basketball Champions League isn't far behind, counting 30 players on the confirmed rosters.

It would've been an even higher number if we took into consideration players like Dario Brizuela, Finn Delany or Alexander Madsen, who played big roles in the last BCL season, but have now already moved on from Unicaja, Telekom Baskets Bonn and AEK.

Here is the full list of the players who will participate in BCL Season 8, starting from the Qualifying Rounds, all the way to the Regular Season.
