Trailing 45-33 with 2:39 to go in the first half, the Lithuanian club came to life after a Jaromir Bohacik pass fell straight into the hands of Jamar Wilson. The Finland international passed ahead to Saulius Kulvietis for a lay-up to trigger an 8-1 run before the break.

Then in the third quarter, Lietkabelis picked up where they left off, taking the lead for good with a Wilson jumper nearly three minutes after the restart for a 50-49 advantage. The hosts outscored Nymburk 31-19 in the frame and stayed in front the rest of the contest.

Wilson had 14 points, 8 assists and 5 rebounds before fouling out and Simas Jasaitis drilled all seven of his shots from the field, including five from deep, for 21 points.

Wilson had one of his best games for Lietkabelis with 14 points, 8 assists and 5 rebounds

But the player of the game was Michael Morrison, who gave the Lithuanian club an inside presence and constant energy. Morrison finished 7 of 9 from the floor and scored 18 points, grabbed 9 rebounds, blocked two shots and came up with a steal.

Midway through the fourth quarter with Nymburk threatening to come back, Morrison came up with the play of the game. The visitors knocked the ball away for a steal and passed up the floor in an attempt to get a fast-break layup only for Morrison to outrun the opponents and beat them to the ball to regain possession.

Lietkabelis then drilled a 3-pointer to go up by 11.

Eugene Lawrence had 21 points and 6 steals in defeat for Nymburk, who have started the BCL season for the first time with three consecutive defeats.
