Safe Pickš
We are more likely to find evidence of Bigfoot or full disclosure on the existence of E.T. than we are to find a genuinely safe pick prediction in the BCL.
But just in case we do find out the little green men have been walking amongst us, the closest thing we can get to a safe bet also involves some green men, only they aren't and they are the men in the green and black of Joventut Badalona.
Daniel Miret's team have made a perfect start to the season, sitting at 2-0 in the BCL and 3-0 in the Spanish Liga Endesa.
Ricky Rubio is back, Ante Tomic is looking like an MVP candidate and they are at home.
QRT winners Bursaspor have a well coached and talented roster but on paper a trip to northern Spain looks like quite the mountain to climb.
Wildcard š
We have gone with the Spanish club for the safe pick, but for this week's wildcard we are going against the grain and predicting KK Spartak Office Shoes might become the first Serbian club to win their first three games in the BCL with a victory over Dreamland Gran Canaria.
Spartak flew under the radar for many people as a new entry to the BCL Regular Season this year, but Vladimir Jovanovic's men are certainly raising a few eyebrows with the way they have started the season.
Olivier Hanlan has scored 15+ points in each of his two BCL games this season, and Shevon Thompson has been dominating the paint.
Dreamland Gran Canaria have also started life in the BCL with a 2-0 record, but with the extra rest from a weekend off in the ABA League and those incredible home fans behind them, Spartak might just have enough to pull off the upset in this one.
