ANTALYA (Turkiye) - They failed to qualify to the Regular Season last time around, but in 2024-25, ERA Nymburk will once again be a part of the group stage in the Basketball Champions League, making it their eighth time in nine seasons that they are among the best 32 BCL teams.
The Czech champions won Tournament 2, joining SL Benfica as the other Champions Path winner in Antalya this week.
Nymburk trailed by 13 early in the game, but a dominant 26-10 third quarter paved the way to a 80-66 win over Estonian champions Kalev/Cramo.
Coach Francesco Tabellini used his ten-men rotation to perfection, getting four players in double digits, led by Christian Bishop's 17 points. Jaromir Bohacik had 16 points, while Tylan Birts and Nighael Ceaser finished with 11 each.
Honorable mention goes out to Ondrej Sehnal, who dished out 8 assists in just 21 minutes off the bench.
Patrick Tape scored 13 with 7 rebounds before fouling out for Kalev/Cramo.
ERA Nymburk now move to BCL Regular Season Group D, alongside Galatasaray, Promitheas Patras and RASTA Vechta.
