Six things to look out for in Telekom Baskets Bonn vs. Peristeri bwin Game 3

MIES (Switzerland) - Tuesday sees Telekom Baskets Bonn and Peristeri bwin facing off in a do-or-die battle and the stakes are as straightforward as they are high: The winner of Game 3 will close off this Quarter-Final series and advance to the Final Four in Belgrade.

Here are six things you need to know ahead of tip-off:

Telekom Baskets Bonn vs. Peristeri bwin (series tied 1-1)

Game 3 - 20:00 CET - Bonn, Germany

Joe Ragland (left) and Glynn Watson (right) could reach personal milestones on Tuesday

● Bonn are 4-0 in their last four home games in the BCL and with a win on Tuesday they will tie their longest winning stretch at home (five wins in a row between October 2022 and March 2023). Bonn scored 80 or more points and gave up fewer than 80 points in each one of those four wins.

● Peristeri have won four of their last five BCL games, but the sole defeat in that span was in Game 1 of this series, when they lost 89-78 to Bonn.

● Peristeri have the 14th-best defense in the BCL, if measured in terms of opponents' points per games, as they allow 80.6 points per contest. However, they allowed opponents to score more than 85 points in 11 of their last 13 road games.

● Peristeri are the second-best team in the BCL when it comes to taking care of the ball, as they only commit 11.3 turnovers on average (Lenovo Tenerife lead the league with just 10.8 turnovers per game). The Greek team however are bottom of the league in steals, averaging 4.9 per game. Interestingly, there was only one game out of Peristeri's 47 so far in the BCL in which they didn't come up with even one steal, and that was Game 1 of this series.

● Bonn's Glynn Watson scored 10 or more points in each of his last three BCL games and, if he repeats that feat on Tuesday, it will be his longest stretch of +10-point games since he started playing in the BCL. Watson also dished 6 or more assists in each of his last two games, when his single-game season high during his first 12 BCL appearances was 5 assists.

● Peristeri's Joe Ragland has averaged 14.5 points and 7.8 assists per game in his four Quarter-Final appearances in his BCL career, however his 9-point tally in Game 1 of this series, was one of only two times he failed to reach double digits in scoring over his last 24 BCL appearances. Ragland is 5 assists away from becoming only the second player in BCL history to reach 500 assists.
