MIES (Switzerland) - Bertram Derthona Tortona were leading Group H for most of the Regular Season, but UCAM Murcia finished on top after extending their winning streak  to five games with a victory over Tofas Bursa in Turkiye on Wednesday.

Coach Sito Alonso is known for his preference to balance playing time amongst as many players as possible, and he got ten of his 12 guys in double digits minutes-wise against Tofas.

The rhythm of the game was perfect for UCAM Murcia, they did see a brief Tofas comeback late in the first half, but everything after the break belonged to the Spaniards.

They spent a total of 38 minutes in front of their opponents, winning the game 90-75 to finish the Regular Season at 5-1. Their tiebreaker advantage over Bertram Derthona Tortona means they are moving straight into the Round of 16.

Dustin Sleeva led the way with 22 points on the night, Troy Caupain had 15, while Howard Sant-Roos sneaked into double digits with 12 points. Murcia dished out 29 assists as a team.

The streak lives on for Murcia as they've been to the sweet 16 in each of their four BCL seasons. Their best finish was the third place in the 2018 Final Four, in Athens, and as a piece of nostalgia from that 2018 run, they will be in the same Round of 16 group as their Semi-Finals rival that year, AEK BETSSON BC.

Tofas will continue their adventure in the Play-Ins, but without home court advantage, needing to steal at least one road win against PAOK mateco in a best-of-three matchup. Zeljko Sakic had a strong game off the bench, 17 points and 6 assists for the Croatian forward.

Bertram Derthona Tortona finished the group at 5-1, making them the only second-placed team to win five games this season. They were in a close call encounter in Bosnia and Herzegovina, where Igokea m:tel had a shot to force overtime, but Marko Josilo could not connect on it.

Tortona prevailed  77-74 with Retin Obasohan leading five men in double digits with his 15 points off the bench. Edin Atic nearly posted t a triple-double for Igokea, with 19 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists.

Tortona will now face Galatasaray EKMAS in the Play-Ins for a spot in the Round of 16. Game 1 and, if needed, Game 3,  will be played in Italy.
