MIES (Switzerland) - Deutsche Telekom has acquired the exclusive rights to the Basketball Champions League, powered by Ameresco SUNEL, the highest club competition based on sporting qualifications of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA).
This means that all relevant international competitions with Bundesliga teams can be seen on MagentaSport.

With the start of BCL's Season 11 on October 6, live and exclusively MagentaSport will show all games of the Bundesliga champion ALBA Berlin, the BBL-Pokal winner BMA365 Bamberg Baskets, the 2023 Basketball Champions League winner Telekom Baskets Bonn, as well as RASTA Vechta, who secured the last Regular Season ticket through the BCL Qualification Round Tournament.
From the Quarter-Finals onwards, all games can also be seen live and exclusively on MagentaSport, including the Final Four tournament with the Semi-Finals and the Final as the crowning moment of the new season.
In total, MagentaSport will offer basketball fans up to 64 games live in the new season of the Basketball Champions League, of which highlights will also be offered.

Berlin, Bamberg, Bonn and Vechta have their sights set on the Play-Offs
In the Basketball Champions League, powered by Ameresco SUNEL, a total of 32 teams will fight for the title in the 2026-27 season.
The Regular Season will be played from October 6 to December 23, 2026 in eight groups of four teams. The group winners qualify directly for the Round of 16 stage, which will be played in four groups of four teams. The second and third-placed teams will meet in the Play-Ins to determine the remaining eight participants.
The top two teams from each of the Round of 16 groups will qualify for the Quarter-Finals, which will be played in a best-of-3 format.
The winners of the Quarter-Finals series will advance to the Final Four tournament. The Lithuanian club Rytas Vilnius goes into the new season as the defending champions.
