MIES (Switzerland) - The Basketball Champions League, powered by Ameresco SUNEL has reached the Quarter-Finals stage of its Season X, with eight teams set to learn their opponents on Friday.
The Final Four will be played in Badalona, Spain (May 7-9), and the city also hosts the Quarter-Finals and Final Four Draw at the Badalona Museum. You can watch the draw on BCL's YouTube channel:
During the draw, eight teams will be divided in two pots. In Pot 1, the seeded teams are the group winners from the Round of 16 phase, including AEK BC, La Laguna Tenerife, Rytas Vilnius and Unicaja.
Those teams will have home court advantage in the best-of-three series in the Quarter-Finals, playing Games 1 and 3 at home.
In Pot 2, the unseeded teams are ALBA BERLIN, Asisa Joventut, ERA Nymburk and Galatasaray MCT Technic.
The only restriction during the draw: Clubs from the same Round of 16 group cannot face each other in the Quarter-Finals.
First games of the Quarter-Finals are schedule on March 31 and April 1; reverse fixtures are to be played on April 7 and 8; potential third games of the series would happen on April 14 and 15.
The Final Four starts with the Semi-Finals on Thursday, May 7 at 18:00 CET and 21:00 CET, respectively. The Third-Place Game tips off on Saturday, May 9 at 17:00 CET, followed by the championship game at 20:00 CET.
