The new-look BCL Fantasy game on a mobile app is available to download now, as your perfect companion to the 2024-25 season!

MIES (Switzerland) - The official Basketball Champions League Fantasy game is available to all for the second straight season, thanks to the Scorestars mobile app.

The new app brings a lot of improvements and new features: All players are available to every user, and there's more tactical gameplay and more daily manager missions.

There is also a new in-app currency called basketballs, the possibility to improve your team's players, collect daily rewards, and progress in divisions throughout the season. By default, you get to spend 55 efficiency points on your five starters.

Here to help you with the selection are our Fantasy Tips.

HALE IS MORE RELIABLE THAN ATHENS WEATHER IN SPRING

This is it, it's Game 3 of the Quarter-Finals in the BCL. Do or die, win or go home.

You have one game to pick your roster and one chance to nail the variables and climb the league table in the BCL Fantasy game.

With so much on the line, the sure-shots become more important than the differentials. If you don't pick a player with a high ownership percentage and they go off, you fall behind against everyone.

There will be a template feel to a lot of your competitor's rosters this week, but this isn't a week for massive gambles.

Hunter Hale, in Athens, in Spring is as reliable as it gets when it comes to big scores. Going back to March 11, Hale has averaged 17.6 points per game and if we only look at the games in Athens, that number explodes up to 26 points per game.

Hale has been absolutely dominant on his home court since the start of March.

The run we are talking about started with an 84-77 win for AEK over Wurzburg on March 11, with Hale putting up 23 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists.

Straight after that came Lavrio on March 15 in the Stoiximan Greek Basketball League. AEK won the game 90-79, Hale dropping a cool 16 points and 6 assists.

The next home game for AEK saw them dismantle Maroussi, again in the Stoiximan Greek Basketball League on March 23, with a final score of 104-83 and Hale shooting 70 percent overall and 80 percent from deep on his way to 21 points and 3 rebounds.

Following that was the start of the Play-Offs domestically and in the BCL.

In AEK's Quarter-Finals in Greece against a red-hot PAOK team, Hunter steered the Queen to an 89-76 win in Game 1 on April 5, with 23 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists.

Four days later on April 9 it was Game 1 of the BCL Quarter-Finals at home against Nanterre 92 and Hale again taking centre-stage. AEK won the game 76-69, thanks in no small part to Hale's 20 points and 4 assists on a 50-40-100 shooting night.

When it comes to BCL Quarter-Finals, Hunter Hale’s on a different level

Now, Hale and AEK may not have been as hot on the road in the Play-Offs, having lost Game 2 at PAOK and Nanterre, but for the BCL Fantsay game we aren't as concerned by those games because next up is AEK vs Nanterre 92, in Athens on April 23.

Hunter Hale isn't going to come cheap. He will cost you 13.7 efficiency points, which leaves you just 41.3 points to fill out the other remaining spots on your roster and likely means Hale is your biggest investment for the week.

He does, however, have a great chance of being worth it after averaging 18.5 efficiency points over his last four home games in the BCL.

With that in mind, Hunter Hale could be the exact what you need to help you get a better chance of promotion through divisions or even better, get the bragging rights in your group of other BCL Fantasy game contestants.
