MIES (Switzerland) - Eight teams, across four Regular Season groups, played their third game of the season on Tuesday. On Wednesday it's time for the remaining eight teams across the same groups to do the same, and conclude Week 5 overall in the Regular Season schedule.
Here's a closer look at some facts and figures for each of the four Wednesday games.
MACCABI RAMAT-GAN (1-1) vs. TELEKOM BASKETS BONN (1-1) - Group E, 18:00 CET
Maccabi Ramat-Gan, who will play their third ever game in the BCL, were trailing at the end of the third quarter in each of their first two BCL games.
Telekom Baskets Bonn have won 26 of the last 28 BCL games in which they kept their opponents at 80 or fewer points, but lost 11 of the last 12 BCL games in which they allowed more than 80 points.
Telekom Baskets Bonn have won three of their last four games against teams from Israel.
Telekom Baskets Bonn lead the BCL so far this season in made 3-pointers, with 12.5 per game, and they score a league-high 45.5 percent of their total points from behind the arc. Interestingly, their defense also allows opponents to score 43.1 of their points from 3-pointers, which is also the highest among all teams so far this season.
Kendale McCullum has tallied 32 points and 14 assists in his two BCL games with Maccabi Ramat-Gan, after tallying 13 points and 12 assists in three BCL games with Rytas. McCullum made exactly 7 free-throws in each of the two games this season.
Bonn's Darius McGhee had 20 or more points and 5 or more assists in each of his first two BCL games and, if he repeats that statline on Wednesday, he will become only the second player to post it in his first three games in the competition, after a former Telekom Baskets Bonn player, TJ Shorts II, in 2022-23.
KOLOSSOS H HOTELS (0-2) vs. KARSIYAKA (1-1) - Group C, 18:30 CET
Kolossos H Hotels have lost their first two BCL games but no Greek team has ever lost its first three games in the competition. Kolossos have only led during seven minutes and 27 seconds so far over their first two games.
Karsiyaka have lost their last 13 road games in the BCL, after never losing more than two in a row during their first 28 away games in the competition. They were leading at half-time in six of those 13 defeats on the road.
Kolossos H Hotels are scoring 0.72 points per possession, fewer than any other team in the BCL this season, and consequently are averaging 50.5 points per game, which is also a league-low this season.
Kolossos H Hotels average a league-low 11 assists per game while at the same time they are tied with Benfica for most turnovers per game, with 19.5.
Karsiyaka shot 60 percent from 2-point range in three of their last four BCL games, as often as in their 24 previous appearances.
Errick McCollum of Karsiyaka scored 20 or more points in three of his last four BCL games, averaging 19.8 points per game in that span, after scoring 20 or more points in three of his previous 17 games. He's made an amazing 30 of his 31 free-throws in those last four games.
RYTAS VILNIUS (1-1) vs. FALCO-VULCANO SZOMBATHELY (2-0) - Group F, 18:30 CET
Rytas Vilnius have won 10 of their last 11 home games in the BCL Regular Season, including each of the most recent five. The sole defeat came in the only game in that stretch in which they conceded more than 80 points (a 101-90 loss to Bnei Herzliya in December 2022).
Falco-Vulcano Szombathely, who have won their last three games in the BCL (if we include the last game of last season) are looking to win four in a row for the first time in their history in the competition. The Hungarian champions have already won as many games this season as in each of their previous two seasons in the competition (they won two games in 2022-23 and two in 2023-24).
Rytas Vilnius and Falco-Vulcano Szombathely are tied in second place for teams with the fewest turnovers so far this BCL season, as they both commit 10.5 turnovers per game on average. (WKS Slask Wroclaw averaged 9.5 before Tuesday's games). Rytas are leading the league in assists to turnovers, as the only team with a ratio of 2/1.
Gytis Radzevicius of Rytas scored 23 points on Gameday 2, against WKS Slask Wroclaw, in what was his first +20-point game in 41 BCL appearances. Radzevicius has averaged 15.5 points and 8.0 rebounds over his last four home BCL games.
Zoltan Perl of Falco Szombathely scored 20 or more points in each of his last three BCL games, his longest run of +20-point games in the competition. Perl averaged 20.5 points per contest in his previous two games against Rytas.
BAXI MANRESA (1-1) vs. NINERS CHEMNITZ (1-1) - Group G, 20:45 CET
BAXI Manresa have won their last three home matches in the BCL, but their last defeat came against a German team (87-69 against Telekom Baskets Bonn in February 2023). 11 of Manresa's last 12 home games were decided by a double-digit margin.
This will be the third ever BCL game for NINERS Chemnitz, after losing 87-81 away at Derthona and winning 103-75 against Benfica at home. They won each of the last five quarters they played in the competition.
BAXI Manresa and NINERS Chemnitz are leading the BCL so far this season in points in the paint, with 45 per game. Manresa are also top of the league in points off turnovers, with 22.5 per game.
Emanuel Cate scored more than 10 points in each of his two BCL games with BAXI Manresa, a feat he had not achieved in consecutive games during his 15 BCL appearances with UCAM Murcia in 2018-19. The Romanian big man made exactly 5 two-point shots in each of his last three BCL games.
DeAndre Lansdowne of the NINERS scored 14 or more points in each of his last three road games in the BCL, as often as in his previous 19. Lansdowne made at least one 3-pointer in 13 of his last 14 games in the competition.
