Falco Szombathely Transfer Watch

Falco Szombathely will go into the 2020-21 season with head coach Gasper Okorn entering the third year of his tenure and Hungarian star Zoltan Perl having recently extended his contract with the club.

The latest new addition to the 2020-21 roster was an absolute treat for Falco fans, as the club has managed to bring 2019 Hungarian League Finals MVP Evan Bruinsma back to Szombathely.

The 28-year-old forward started the 2019-20 season at Medi Bayreuth and averaged 9.1 points and 4.1 rebounds in the German BBL up until the pandemic-induced stoppage. In June he joined Hapoel Beer Sheva for the Israeli League's restart, where he averaged 18 points and 8.4 boards per contest.

The two-time Hungarian champions have penned point guard Kyan Anderson who spent last season with BC Goettingen and averaged 15.8 points and 5 assists per game in the German easyCredit Bundesliga, as well as veteran forward Strahinja Milosevic, who arrives from fellow Hungarian side Debrecen.

Falco replaced the departing Juvonte Reddic at the center spot with 31-year old Devin Searcy, who played for Romania's Pitesti in the 2019-20 season. The Hungarian club have also brought in youngsters Benedek Kovacs, from Monaco's U21 side and Petert Doktor from ZTE.

In January, Falco parted ways with Searcy and brought in veteran center Akos Keller. The 31-year-old Hungarian big man started the 2020-21 season at Slask Wroclaw and averaged 5.9 points and 5.2 rebounds per game in the Polish PLK league.
