VILNIUS (Lithuania) - The Basketball Champions League Season X, powered by Ameresco SUNEL has already seen some crazy atmospheres and home courts built like fortresses.
However, the toughest court of all could be the one in Lithuania. That's where Rytas Vilnius won 11 of their last 13 games, their fans playing a major role in each of those wins.
Rytas are a different team at home, and they have scored 90+ points in seven of their last nine games at the Twinsbet Arena.
The latest team to realize the strength of the Lithuanian giants were Promitheas Patras BC Vikos Cola, whose perfect record was shattered to pieces in a 98-79 defeat.
With Rytas being on a high scoring streak, it's logical some of their players will be flirting with record books. Gytis Masiulis had an 11-point, 11-rebound double-double in just 15:12 of action.
It was the second fastest double-double in BCL history, trailing only Dinamo BDS Sassari's Jack Cooley, who had 12 points and 11 rebounds in 13:56 of action in January 2017.
