MIES (Switzerland) - The Basketball Champions League Season X continued with 16 games on Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday gives us time to reflect on the best individual performances.
The fourth Team of the Week saw players from Unicaja, NHSZ-Szolnoki Olajbanyasz, ALBA BERLIN, AEK BC and La Laguna Tenerife make the cut.
Kendrick Perry was on fire for the two-time defending champions, getting his season-high 22 points, one more than he had in the previous two games combined, as Unicaja defeated Filou Oostende.
Adam Somogyi confirmed once again he is a realistic triple-double threat this season. He pushed the Hungarian champions towards a close win over VEF Riga with 17 points, 12 assists and 5 rebounds.
Sam Griesel is a well known BCL name from his days with Telekom Baskets Bonn. This week, he played his best game for ALBA BERLIN, contributing to a win over ERA Nymburk with 18 points, as ALBA were a +17 team in his 25 minutes.
Chris Silva is turning into one of the most dominant players of this competition with AEK BC. He protected the pain with 14 rebounds, while also scoring 13 points. He was +11 in a two-point win, colossal effort.
Finally, the middle belongs to Giorgi Shermadini. The legendary center had his typical highly efficient performance with 10 points on 5-of-7 shooting, 11 rebounds and a team-high efficiency rating of 20 for La Laguna Tenerife against Tofas Bursa.
