Season X marks the evolution of this partnership, now led by Ameresco SUNEL - a joint venture between Ameresco Inc. (NYSE: AMRC) and SUNEL, created to deliver large-scale renewable energy projects across Europe.

Together, the partners bring deep expertise in Solar PV, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and Energy Efficiency, enabling BCL and its stakeholders to actively promote sustainability in sports infrastructure across Europe and beyond.

This partnership also marks an important step forward for The Green Alliance, SUNEL's newly launched initiative dedicated to accelerating the energy transition of sports venues, hospitality complexes, and large-scale infrastructure.

Through this platform, SUNEL collaborates with club owners, venue operators, municipalities, and infrastructure partners to deliver tailored clean energy solutions - designed to reduce emissions, lower energy costs, and support more sustainable operations.

"We are proud to officially extend our strategic partnership with the Basketball Champions League, and to serve as the Presenting Partner of this milestone tenth season - alongside our trusted partner, Ameresco," said Konstantinos Zygouras, CEO of SUNEL.

"This partnership reflects our shared commitment to sustainability, innovation, and long-term impact in the world of sport. Patrick Comninos, CEO of the Basketball Champions League, added: "During the Final Four in Athens, we saw first-hand the infrastructural ideas Ameresco and SUNEL had for the future of sports venues, which is why we are pleased to continue and expand our collaboration with both of them, through this newly established presenting partnership for Season X. Our goal is to create long-term value together, for clubs, fans, and host cities. This partnership will enable us to take a meaningful step toward smarter, greener, and more sustainable basketball venues."
