Team of the Quarter-Finals: Rubio, Harding, Bartley, Nunnally, Shermadini

The Quarter-Finals phase of the Season X, powered by Ameresco SUNEL is behind us in the Basketball Champions League. Time to honor the best performers from this part of the campaign.

MIES (Switzerland) - Season X of the Basketball Champions League, powered by Ameresco SUNEL reached its crucial point, as the Quarter-Finals ended and the teams are getting ready for the Final Four in Badalona, Spain (May 7-9).

We've seen plenty of great individual performances, and these five players were named to the Team of the Quarter-Finals: Ricky Rubio (Asisa Joventut), Jerrick Harding (Rytas Vilnius), Frank Bartley, James Nunnally (both AEK BC), and Giorgi Shermadini (La Laguna Tenerife).

Ricky Rubio gave it his best shot, putting up 13 points in both Game 1 and Game 2 against AEK BC, then playing his best basketball in Game 3 with 17 points, but it was not enough for Asisa Joventut to steal a win on the road.

    Watch Ricky's masterpiece

Rubio also dished out six assists with four rebounds per game, and finished his first BCL season with 13.4 points, 5.8 assists and 16.8 efficiency rating per game, while shooting 46 percent from the field, 43 from three and 90 from the charity stripe.

Jerrick Harding earned his spot on the Team of the Quarter-Finals by taking care of business against his former club, ERA Nymburk.

Harding had 19 points in Game 1, hitting 4-of-5 threes, then followed it up with 17 points in Game 2. While he did not make a single triple then, Rytas were a +13 team with him on the floor, in a game which they won by one.

Frank Bartley continued his fine season with AEK BC, with 23, 13 and 16 points in three games against Asisa Joventut, respectively.

Bartley has now had 15+ points in 11 different games, the most in BCL this season. AEK's record when he has 15+ points? A perfect 11-0.

AEK's one-two punch: Frank Bartley and James Nunnally

Bartley had a valuable partner in James Nunnally. The veteran came up big when AEK needed him the most, reaching double figures in all three games against Joventut.

Nunnally was the key player down the stretch in Game 1, propelling AEK to an advantage en route to their fourth BCL Final Four, scoring 19 points in 20 minutes. In Game 3, he did a bit of everything with 10 points, 4 boards and 4 dimes.

Finally, the middle belongs to Giorgi Shermadini. La Laguna Tenerife's big man was unstoppable against Galatasaray MCT Technic across all three games, with the crowning moment coming in the decider.

In Game 3, Shermadini needed just 19 minutes to count to 20 points with a season-high 14 rebounds and an efficiency rating of 35.

The Most Valuable Player of the Quarter-Finals will be announced on Friday.
