    18 things to look out for in Tuesday's games

    All set for a rematch between Joventut and Wurzburg

    The BCL Round of 16 is back, finally.

    MIES (Switzerland) - We had to wait for one month, as our last game of action in the Round of 16 of the Basketball Champions League, powered by Ameresco SUNEL, happened on February 11.

    But after tuning in to national team competitions worldwide and domestic cups all over Europe, we are finally back on track with a three-game schedule on Tuesday night's action. Stay with us to find out 18 must-know facts.

    Hapoel Netanel Holon vs. Galatasaray MCT Technic - Group I, 17:30 CET

    • Hapoel Netanel Holon have lost their four games in the BCL Round of 16 this season, allowing 100+ points in three of those games; however, their narrowest defeat in that span came against Galatasaray MCT Technic (81-86), a game where they had a 12-point lead.

    • Galatasaray have won their last six BCL games played outside of Türkiye, their longest such sequence in the competition; they have scored more than 90 points in three of those games.

    • Galatasaray are the only team averaging fewer than 10 turnovers per 100 possessions in the BCL this season (9.9); only VEF Riga have made fewer steals per game (3.7) than Holon among all teams in the BCL this season (5.0 per game).

    • Adama Sanogo is averaging 16.8 points and 8.5 rebounds in his four BCL games played for Holon, after averaging 7.8 points and 4.0 rebounds in his six games played with Trapani Shark earlier this season; he has combined for 20+ points and 8+ rebounds in his last two BCL games.

    • Errick McCollum is averaging 21.6 points in his last five BCL games played for Galatasaray; he has scored 15 or more points and multiple three-pointers in each of his three BCL games played in neutral venues, all against teams from Israel.

    • Holon didn't play during the weekend as the Israeli league is currently suspended; despite Errick McCollum's 27-point losing effort, Galatasaray suffered a 93-90 home defeat against Turk Telekom Ankara.

    • Asisa Joventut lost their most recent game in the BCL (77-85 at Elan Chalon), after winning their previous nine in the league; three of their last five victories in the competition have ended with a two-point differential, including the reverse fixture against Fitness First Wurzburg Baskets (85-83).

    • Wurzburg have lost their most recent two road games in the BCL but are yet to lose more on the bounce over a single season in the competition; this season, they have won all their seven BCL games when allowing fewer than 80 points and have lost all six when allowing 80 or more.

    • Asisa Joventut have held their opponents to score only 48.1 percent of their attempted shots from inside the arc, the best defensive two-point percentage in the BCL this season.

    • Joventut’s Ricky Rubio has scored more than 12 points in each of his last eight games played in the BCL; Rubio has dished out 46 assists and has made 11 turnovers, with his 4.18 assists per turnover ratio being the highest amongst the 62 players with 25+ assists in the BCL this season.

    • Marcus Carr (Wurzburg) has combined for 15+ points and 5+ assists in eight games in this BCL season, while only three players have had more such performances in a single BCL campaign before: Jordan Theodore, 13 in 2016-17; Joe Ragland, 11 in 2023-24; Marcelinho Huertas, 9 in 2023-24.

    • Joventut enjoyed a 109-73 victory over Granada in front of their fans, propelled by Henri Drell's 20 points; the BCL derby between German teams was won by ALBA BERLIN, which beat Wurzburg 71-68.

    Elan Chalon vs. Unicaja - Group K, 20:30 CET

    • Elan Chalon have won five of their six games at home in the BCL this season, including their last four – Chalon’s longest winning sequence at home in the competition. Chalon’s last two home victories happened despite them not leading at halftime.

    • Unicaja have lost two of their most recent three BCL games, after winning 32 of their previous 33 league fixtures; those two defeats happened on the road.

    • Chalon have averaged 78 possessions per game, the most of any team in the BCL this season; they have also allowed the most possessions per game to their opponents this time out (77.9), while Unicaja are the team scoring the most points per possession in the league this term (1.27ppp).

    • Jeremiah Hill has scored 14+ points in 10 of his 12 BCL games for Chalon, including 18 in the reverse fixture against Unicaja; he is averaging 19.3 points at home compared to 13.2 on the road.

    • Kendrick Perry has scored 15+ points in three of his last four BCL games against teams from France, including in the reverse fixture against Chalon this season (17pts); he also had 14 assists and only four turnovers in that span.

    • Chalon had a tough return to the court after the break in France, losing 102-80 to Nancy despite Grant Golden's 20 points; Unicaja beat Girona 90-83 away from home, led by James Webb III's 18-point effort.
