Fan favorite: Zoltan Perl is the player of the second week

MIES (Switzerland) - Sixteen teams were in action during the first week of the Basketball Champions League Season Seven. We set up a poll with five most impactful players and asked the fans who was the player of the week.

We have narrowed the list down to five names, using the Viziball Advanced Stats system. These five guys were the most impactful in their teams' wins this week. Peristeri bwin's Miro Bilan got the most votes last time around.

Joe Ragland (Hapoel Atsmon Holon)

Known for his passing, Joe Ragland took on a different role this week, providing Hapoel Atsmon Holon with a solid shooting touch against Filou Oostende. He finished with 31 points and 13 assists, becoming the first player in BCL history to get 30+ points and 10+ assists in a single game.

Juampi Vaulet (BAXI Manresa)

Last season's finalists are up to 2-0, and Juampi Vaulet made the most of his minutes in the blowout win over VEF Riga in Spain. Point forward had 22 points, 7 rebounds and 2 blocks, done in less than 21 minutes on the floor. Manresa were a +32 team with him playing.

Zoltan Perl (Falco Vulcano Szombathely)

The man from Szombathely was once again the local hero. Zoltan Perl had his BCL career-high with 29 points off the bench to power the Hungarian champs towards a win over UCAM Murcia. With Perl running the plays, Falco also set their BCL-high with 104 points scored.

Matt Mitchell (SIG Strasbourg)

SIG Strasbourg played their ninth overtime game in BCL. They won seven of those, while no other team played more than six overtime games in the history of this competition. Matt Mitchell had a clutch bucket in extra time, he finished with 23 points, 4 assists, 4 steals and 2 rebounds.

TJ Shorts (Telekom Baskets Bonn)

Telekom Baskets Bonn are up to 1-1 thanks to their double digit win over Pinar Karsiyaka. TJ Shorts was unstoppable, scoring 28 points with 8 assists and 7 rebounds, becoming the first player with consecutive 25+ points, 5+ assists games since the BCL started back in 2016.

After 24 hours of voting, Zoltan Perl won the poll with 51 percent of votes. Joe Ragland got 36 percent, TJ Shorts was third with 8 percent, Juampi Vaulet had 5 and Matt Mitchell got 1 percent of votes.
