Time to find the fan favorite: DeAndre Lansdowne is the player of the eighth week

MIES (Switzerland) - Sixteen teams were in action during the eighth week of the Basketball Champions League Season Seven. We set up a poll with five most impactful players and asked the fans who was the player of the week.

We have narrowed the list down to five names, using the Viziball Advanced Stats system. These five guys were the most impactful in their teams' wins this week.

Peristeri bwin's Miro Bilan got the most votes in the first week, Falco Vulcano Szombathely's Zoltan Perl was the fan favorite in the second week.

Third week belonged to Bnei Ofek Dist Herzliya's Maurice Kemp, while Jordan Davis of UCAM Murcia won the vote in week four. Justin Johnson of MHP RIESEN was the fan favorite in week five. Week six belonged to Jayvon Graves of Limoges CSP, while technical difficulties prevented a vote in week seven.

Berk Ugurlu (Tofas Bursa)

Tofas Bursa made sure they swept Falco Vulcano Szombathely, and that way they advanced to the Play-In Series. The final week will give them a chance of even getting the home court advantage, and if Berk Ugurlu can have another 13-point, 12-assist double-double, it seems like it could happen.

TJ Shorts (Telekom Baskets Bonn)

The hot favorite to win the MVP of the season award continued with his fine streak, extending it to five games with 25+ points in the Basketball Champions League. No one else has more than three such games, and Shorts put up 16 of his 26 in the fourth quarter on the road at Pinar Karsiyaka, with 9 assists also to his name.

DeAndre Lansdowne (SIG Strasbourg)

The captain heard the standing ovation from the packed stands in Strasbourg as he carried the team with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 steals. Strasbourg claimed the tiebreaker over UCAM Murcia thanks to Lansdowne, and that means they already booked Round of 16 tickets.

Tre'shawn Thurman (Filou Oostende)

One of the biggest upsets of the season happened in Turkey, where Filou Oostende came up with a massive win over Galatasaray Nef, good enough to earn qualification to the Play-In Series. Thurman contributed with 26 points, 7 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 blocks.

Desi Rodriguez (Limoges CSP)

Limoges CSP looked down and out at 0-3 just a few weeks back, but back-to-back wins put them through to the Play-In Series, with a chance to finish ahead of BAXI Manresa, too. Desi Rodriguez is a big reason why, his 22 points and 6 rebounds powered the French side to their first road win in BCL history.

After 24 hours, DeAndre Lansdowne received the most votes, edging out Tre'Shawn Thurman and Desi Rodriguez. Berk Ugurlu finished fourth, ahead of TJ Shorts.
