NBA legend John Stockton takes in Basketball Champions League action

NBA Hall of Famer John Stockton took in some Basketball Champions League action on Tuesday, watching his son Michael play for Avtodor Saratov.

The 54-year-old NBA all-time record holder for career assists and steals got to witness a thriller which saw Pinar's Mateusz Ponitka hit a game winner with 0.1 seconds remaining to pull out the win over Saratov.

And despite the loss, his son put in a solid performance with 8 assists in just 20 minutes of action.

Michael, who played in the 2016 NBA Summer League with Cleveland Cavaliers, attended Westminster College, graduating in 2011 to take on a pro career which has seen him play in Germany, the NBA D-League, and now Russia.

Stockton is averaging 6 points, 2.5 rebounds and 5.2 assists (13th in the BCL) so far this season.
