    Round of 16 groups completed in Season X

    The 2025-26 Basketball Champions League, powered by Ameresco SUNEL has reached the end of the Play-Ins, with 16 teams remaining in contention

    MIES (Switzerland) - The Basketball Champions League Season X, powered by Ameresco SUNEL is set for the Round of 16 phase, as the final two tickets were handed out on Wednesday.

    Tofas Bursa and Fitness First Wurzburg Baskets joined Pallacanestro Trieste, ERA Nymburk, Elan Chalon, Hapoel Netanel Holon, Le Mans Sarthe Basket and Karditsa Iaponiki as the eight teams advancing from the Play-Ins to the Sweet 16.

    Previously, eight teams had directly qualified for the Round of 16, in alphabetical order: AEK BC (GRE), ALBA BERLIN (GER), Dreamland Gran Canaria (ESP), Galatasaray MCT Technic (TUR), Joventut Badalona (ESP), La Laguna Tenerife (ESP), Rytas Vilnius (LTU) and Unicaja (ESP).

    The Round of 16 phase will be composed by 16 clubs, split in four groups of four clubs each, and they will play in a round robin, home and away system, from January 20 to March 18.

    The first two teams in each group will qualify for the Quarter-Finals.

    The Round of 16 groups are as follows:

    Group I

    Galatasaray MCT Technic (TUR) Hapoel Netanel Holon (ISR) Le Mans Sarthe Basket (FRA) Rytas Vilnius (LTU)

    Group J

    AEK BC (GRE) ALBA BERLIN (GER) Karditsa Iaponiki (GRE) Tofas Bursa (TUR)

    Group K

    Elan Chalon (FRA) Fitness First Wurzburg Baskets (GER) Joventut Badalona (ESP) Unicaja (ESP)

    Group L

    Dreamland Gran Canaria (ESP) ERA Nymburk (CZE) La Laguna Tenerife (ESP) Pallacanestro Trieste (ITA)

    The Quarter-Finals pairings will be determined by the draw after the Round of 16, and will tip off on March 31. The winners of the best-of-three matchups will reach the season ending Final Four tournament.
