Tenerife roll over Cibona behind dominant second half

TENERIFE (Basketball Champions League) - Iberostar Tenerife poured in 58 points in the second half to roll over Cibona 106-84 and improve to 6-2 at the top of Group D on Wednesday night.

Davin White finished with 21 points and 5 assists for Tenerife, who did most of their damage in the third period where they outscored Cibona by 17 to lead by almost thirty heading into the final quarter.

The third period Tenerife run was orchestrated by White, as he poured in 11 points and 3 assists in the quarter.

"We started off kind of slow in the first half trying to find our rhythm on offence and the second half we picked it up on defence and it led to offence," White commented after the game.

"It was a great win against a good team with a lot of young players. I wouldn't say we took them lightly but they came out and they played hard and gave us a game today."

Scottie Reynolds led Cibona with 19, and Nik Slavica added 16 but it wouldn't be enough for the Croatian side.
