BC Tartu vs Donar Groningen preview

The story so far: The first leg in the Netherlands finished with the scores tied at 76. Whoever wins on Thursday wins the tie and will go up against Bakken Bears in Qualification Round 2.

BC TARTU vs.  DONAR GRONINGEN - Thursday at 18:00 CEST

TARTU (Basketball Champions League) – If you have any doubt about which of the two opponents was more happy with the fact they had to share the spoils on Tuesday, Gert Kullamae will resolve it: “This is a very good result for us, we had a great comeback in the fourth quarter,” said the Tartu head coach.

The Estonian team fought their way back from a 14-point deficit to tie the scores and a glance at the major statistical categories will confirm there was indeed very little to separate the two teams in any aspect, so do not be surprised if the second leg also turns out to be a very tight affair.

Donar will look to establish a lively pace, as they scored 16 points in transition on Tuesday, all after forcing a Tartu turnover. The Estonian side meanwhile relies on good ball movement and it is possible that at home they will find more open looks from long range than they did in the first game, when they went 7-of-17 from downtown.
