Top 10 poster dunks of 2017 in the Basketball Champions League

As the New Year approaches, we take a look back on the best of 2017, with the top 10 poster dunks that happened in the Basketball Champions League.

10) Furkan Korkmaz - Week 11 (2016-17)

Now playing his trade in the NBA with the 76ers, the 2016 draft pick who spent last season in the BCL with Banvit had this nasty poster after being found cutting on the baseline, on his way to picking up the BCL Young Player of the Year.

9) Lahaou Konate - Week 4

In at number 9, Lahaou Konate got out ahead of the pack in Week 4, accelerating before throwing down the lefty dunk over the defending big man for a big-time poster.

8) Jack Cooley - Quarter-Finals (2016-17)

What happens when two colossal big men meet above the rim? It’s going one of either two ways, and in this instance, Jack Cooley got the better of Gasper Vidmar with this one-handed hammer.

7) Aleksandar Marelja - Week 11 (2016-17)

Last season, Mega Leks showed us how to run the picture-perfect three-man fast-break, culminating in a huge and-1 finish from Alesandar Marelja over a hopeless defender.

6) Yakuba Outtara - 3rd Place Game (2016-17)

The inaugural BCL Final Four wouldn’t have been complete without at least one poster, and this was the best one, courtesy of AS Monaco’s Yakuba Ouattara who exploded for a two handed poster in the third-place classification game.

5) Dominic Lockhart - Round of 16 (2016-17)

Out of nothing, Dominic Lockhart had one of the biggest finishes of last season’s Round of 16, exploding for this one-handed tomahawk over the defender on the break.

4) Jordan Morgan - Gameday 6

Jordan Morgan brought another rare two-handed poster in Gameday 6 of this season, elevating to hammer down with power, knocking the AEK defender to the floor.

3) Josh Owens - Round of 16 (2016-17)

Josh Owens was one of the league’s most ferocious dunkers last season, and this poster was amongst the biggest of them, as he slipped the screen to get a picture perfect feed for a picture perfect finish.

2) Kelvin Martin - Week 11 (2016-17)

Another of the league’s best dunkers last season, Kelvin Martin is one of the better smaller dunkers in Europe, and with this poster you see exactly why, as he just flies over the defender trying to take the charge.

1) Christopher Evans - Gameday 9

Sneaking in at the last possible moment in the final gameday of 2017, Christopher Evans caught everyone off guard as he got out in front of the pack to serve up this monster poster with huge extension against UNET Holon, for our number one poster dunk of 2017.
