ATHENS (Basketball Champions League) - During the Basketball Champions League Awards Ceremony on Saturday, a couple of season prizes were awarded.

Besides the MVP of the Season, the Best Plays (Dunk, Assist, Block, Highlight of the Season), the Best Young Player, the Star Lineup and the Best Coach awards were announced during an Awards Ceremony, in presence of participating clubs, media representatives, European Leagues, Greek Federation and League, FIBA and Basketball Champions League's senior officials.

The following awards were announced:

MVP of the Season: Manny HARRIS (AEK)
Star Lineup: Manny HARRIS (AEK), D.J. KENNEDY (Pinar Karsiyaka), Ovie SOKO (UCAM Murcia), Louis LABEYRIE (SIG Strasbourg), Elmedin KIKANOVIC (AS Monaco)
Best Young Player: Arnoldas KULBOKA (SikeliArchivi Capo d'Orlando)
Best Coach: John PATRICK (MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg)

Best Assist: Metin TÜREN (Pinar Karsiyaka)

Best Block: Justin SEARS (MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg)

Best Dunk: Chris EVANS (AS Monaco)

Highlight of the Season: Giannoulis LARENTZAKIS (AEK)

The Star Lineup was chosen according to a public vote which was equally distributed: 1/3 of the votes from the fans, 1/3 of the votes from media representatives, and 1/3 of the votes from the coaches of the 32 participating teams.

In addition, the Star Lineup Second Best Team has been announced, and is formed by Gabe YORK (medi Bayreuth), Kendrick RAY (CEZ Nymburk), Chris EVANS (AS Monaco), Dusan SAKOTA (AEK) and Gasper VIDMAR (Banvit):
