MIES (Basketball Champions League) - Teams are enjoying some well deserved time off, but we are not. Counting down the Power Rankings, teams ranked from 20 to 11!

UCAM Murcia could end up in a battle with Dinamo Sassari for the Play-Offs spot in Group A, which is what makes their home defeat to the Sardinians an even harder pill to swallow. And Murcia are yet to visit the most famous landmarks in Sassari, Monaco, Utena, Holon and Izmir… They have been the most clutch – the clutchest? – team of the season, making wild buzzer-beaters every time they play.u.

Not promoting betting here, but man you would've won a whole lotta money if you said Dinamo Sassari would lose three games at home and win away at Murcia… Their performance against UNET Holon was their most impressive so far, maybe that gets them going and sees them produce a kind of run that saw them in the Quarter-Finals last season.

First three games: OMG, Gabe York is the best player ever and medi Bayreuth are the most likeable team ever assembled! Last three games: OMG, what happened!? Bayreuth got caught in a rot, they will need York's good looks and hair best shooting displays to get them out of their slump. Their domestic form and a 7-3 record show they still know how to get the job done. So get it done!

17

At 3-3, they should've taken advantage of their schedule in Group D. But their 3-3 doesn't feel the same as Avellino's – CEZ Nymburk will spend the next three Gamedays without any home-cooking, and that could easily see them drop to 3-6. One way they could be a 6-3 team? Rebounding. Nobody does it better in the Basketball Champions League, CEZ grab a massive 40.5 boards per game.

When they are hot, Ventspils are burning, destroying Gaziantep by 25 or taking down reigning champs Tenerife. But whey they are cold, they are freezing. Nobody expected a 55-66 loss to SikeliArchivi Capo d'Orlando, which leaves them just a win ahead of Chalon and Gaziantep in the Play-Offs battle. Aigars Skele is having a fine season, he could be the next one with a triple-double.

AEK have already dropped two games in Athens, and they are behind Aris in the Power Rankings because they have an even tougher schedule ahead of them – over the course of next five Gamedays, AEK will be on the road for FOUR games! Then again, their most impressive performances were away from home – at Venezia and Strasbourg, so don't count them off just yet…

14

Next four Gamedays will determine Aris' faith in this season's Basketball Champions League. We're used to seeing them having a hard time away from home, and over the aforementioned span, they will be on the road for three games. Staying at .500 may not be enough to book a place in Play-Offs, Aris will have to be the indestructible master of war now.

We all were students at one point of our lives, right? Then don't be surprised that Movistar Estudiantes are behaving just like students, varying from brilliant efforts at AEK and double digit leads at Banvit, to home court struggles against Olimpija and Rosa Radom. At 3-3, they could be in danger of not reaching Play-Offs in a loaded Group C.

12

HAVE YOU SEEN ARIEL FILLOY!? THAT SHOT ALONE GETS SIDIGAS AVELLINO THE CAPS LOCK TREATMENT IN THIS BOX, MAKING THEM THE MOST EXCITING TEAM EVER! Okay, maybe not. But it's amazing they are just 3-3 in the Basketball Champions League, don't let that fool you – this team could go all the way! You've read it here first!

11

Last season's finalists Banvit showed they are capable of both defeating Estudiantes and losing to Rosa Radom in a matter of days… We'll know more about their aspirations over the next two Basketball Champions League Gamedays – they have a rendezvous with Strasbourg in France, followed by a home game against Venezia. Two wins could propel them to Top 5.
