MHP Riesen sweep Neptunas to go top of Group B
KLAIPEDA (Basketball Champions League) - MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg turned on the style midway through the second quarter and rolled to an 87-81 victory at Neptunas Klaipeda.
With their eighth win in 10 games, the German side has climbed into first place in Group B ahead of Iberostar Tenerife (7-2), who host struggling Gaziantep on Wednesday. MHP Riesen won the first meeting against Neptunas on October 24, 95-83.

The lead was knotted at 33-33 with just 3:23 remaining in the first half when MHP Riesen shifted into a higher gear. Thomas Walkup made a pair of free-throws and Justin Sears followed with a short jump shot.
Sears ended up capping a 9-0 run to finish the half with another jumper and the visitors lead, 42-33 at the break.
John Patrick's side kept the pressure on in the third quarter, outscoring Neptunas 26-19 to take a stranglehold on proceedings.
Dwayne Evans led a balanced MHP Riesen attack with 15 points.
