The visitors, thumped 72-60 in the first leg of the Qualification Round 1 tie on Tuesday in Georgia, hit back from a seven-point deficit to lead the second leg 36-33 at half-time.
Their biggest advantage on the night was just five, however, which meant they still trailed by seven on aggregate.
Next up for the Spanish team will be a tie with Finnish outfit Kataja Basket. Joventut will host the first leg on Sunday with the second to be played in Joenssu two days later.
