MIES (Switzerland) - Week 3 action comes to a close on Wednesday, which features four games across three different groups of the 2024-25 BCL Regular Season.

Here's a closer look at some facts and figures for each game:

FALCO-VULCANO SZOMBATHELY vs. PALLACANESTRO REGGIANA (Group F, 18:00 CET)

King Zoltan: nobody else in BCL history even comes close to Perl's scoring off the bench numbers
    • Falco-Vulcano Szombathely, who won 84-75 at Slask Wroclaw in their BCL opening game two weeks ago, will try to win their first two games of a BCL season for the second time in their six campaigns in the league, after the start of the 2021-22 season. Falco have won both of their two previous BCL games at home against Italian teams (93-83 vs. Brindisi in January 2020, and 81-80 vs. Treviso in November 2021).

    • Pallacanestro Reggiana, who won their BCL opener (77-67 vs. Rytas Vilnius) two weeks ago, are yet to win back-to-back games in the BCL. The Italian side scored fewer than 80 points in six of their seven BCL games.

    • In that Week 1 win over Rytas, Reggiana had 32 defensive rebounds, a joint-high in the first week of this season’s BCL and a club record in a single BCL game. Reggiana have now won all three BCL games in which they had at least 25 defensive rebounds.

    • Zoltan Perl (Falco-Vulcano Szombathely) has scored more than 20 points in three of his last four games in the BCL; Perl has had eight games of 20 or more points off the bench in the BCL, more than any other player in league history.

    • At 19 years and 239 days of age, Reggiana's Mouhamed Faye became in week 1 the youngest ever player to collect at least 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 blocks in a BCL game (he had 15 points, 8 rebounds and 5 blocks against Rytas Vilnius). No player under 21 has ever had multiple BCL games of 5 or more blocks.

KOLOSSOS H HOTELS vs. LA LAGUNA TENERIFE (Group C, 18:30 CET)

Giorgi Shermadini will enter a very exclusive, Tenerife-dominated club if his team wins on Wednesday
    • Kolossos H Hotels, who lost their debut game in the BCL (84-54 at Saint-Quentin Basket-Ball), hope to avoid becoming the first Greek teams to lose their first two games in the competition. The Rhodes club is the seventh Greek team to compete in the BCL.

    • La Laguna Tenerife have won just one of their last four games when visiting Greek teams in the BCL. The Spanish team, who won their first game in the league this season (87-76 at Karsiyaka) but haven’t won their first two road games in a BCL campaign since 2019-20, when they won three road games in a row.

    • La Laguna Tenerife shot 52.4 percent from three-point range in the season opener against Karsiyaka, their highest three-point field goal percentage in a BCL game on the road since October 2021, when they shot 52.6 percent from beyond the arc at MHP RIESEN Ludwigsburg. The Canary Islands team have won 23 of the last 24 BCL games in which they scored more than 10 three-pointers.

    • Big man Michalis Tsairelis, now with Kolossos H Hotels, has already played 53 games in the competition (28 with Aris, 16 with Promitheas and 8 with PAOK) and scored 12 or more points in each of his last three games at home in the competition. However, Tsairelis has scored a total of 7 points across his two games against La Laguna Tenerife.

    • Giorgi Shermadini has won 59 games in the BCL, and one more victory will make him the fifth player to reach the 60-victory milestone in league history. All four players ahead of him are his teammates on Tenerife: Tim Abromaitis, 72; Bruno Fitipaldo, 63; Aaron Doornekamp, 62; Marcelinho Huertas, 60.

RYTAS VILNIUS vs. WKS SLASK WROCLAW (Group F, 18:30 CET)

Isaiah Whitehead scored a BCL career-high 25 points in Wroclaw's BCL debut
    • Rytas Vilnius are 0-3 in their last three games in the BCL (this stretch includes the tail end of last season) but have suffered four defeats in a row only once, between March-October 2022. Rytas are 9-1 in their last 10 home games in the BCL Regular Season and 4-0 in the most recent four, albeit the last two were decided by margins of only 2 points.

    • WKS Slask Wroclaw lost 84-75 to Falco-Vulcano Szombathely in their first ever game in the BCL and will look on Tuesday to avoid the fate of three of the last four Polish debutant teams in the BCL, who lost both of their first two games in the competition.

    • Rytas Vilnius shot only 23 percent (6 of 26) from three-point range on Gameday 1 against Pallacanestro Reggiana, the lowest three-point field goal percentage in their last 31 BCL games. On defense, Rytas gave up more than 10 three-pointers in four of their last five home games in the BCL.

    • Gytis Radzevicius of Rytas has had more than 10 points and 5 rebounds in five of his last six BCL games, a statline he had posted in only three of his previous 23 games in the competition. He has made 10 of his last 12 two-point shots in the BCL, including all of his last five.

    • Isaiah Whitehead scored 25 points in his first game with WKS Slask Wroclaw in the BCL, against Falco-Vulcano Szombathely, which is his BCL career-high (14 appearances in the competition). The last time he played on the road in the BCL he posted his first double-double, as he had 14 points and 11 rebounds as a MHP RIESEN Ludwigsburg player, against Bakken Bears.

NINERS CHEMNITZ vs. SL BENFICA (Group G, 20:00 CET)

Olivier Nkamhoua led Chemnitz in scoring and rebounds in the club's first BCL game
    • NINERS Chemnitz lost 87-81 to Bertram Derthona Basket in their first ever BCL game, but no German team has lost their first two games in the competition since 2017-18 (Telekom Baskets Bonn).

    • SL Benfica have lost their last six games in the BCL (this stretch includes the tail end of last season), with each of their most recent three games decided by margins of at least 24 points. The Portuguese champions have lost their last five road games in the BCL, conceding more than 90 points in the last two.

    • Chemnitz scored 69 percent of their 81 points against Bertram Derthona on Gameday 1 from 2-point range, the highest ratio among all teams in the opening week. By contrast, SL Benfica were the team with the highest ratio of total points off three-pointers, 47 percent.

    • Olivier Nkamhoua led Chemnitz in scoring (19 points) and rebounds (6 rebounds) in the team’s first game in the BCL. He scored 16 of his points in the paint, the joint-second highest tally in week 1, only behind Zoltan Perl's 18 points in the paint.
