Hapoel Jerusalem best in rebounds and 17 other facts you might have missed this week


MIES (Switzerland) - The fifth week of the Basketball Champions League season is just behind us. The perfect time to have a look a some key facts to take away after this week's games.

Teams

  • UCAM Murcia and Iberostar Tenerife have won their first five games this season in BCL, first Spanish teams to achieve it. Only three teams managed to do so previously in BCL.
  • Iberostar Tenerife's win against UNET Holon by a 32-point differential is the largest in BCL this season (84-52).
  • MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg have lost their first five games of the season. In BCL history, only one team before lost its first five games of a BCL season, it was Capo d’Orlando in 2017/18.
  • Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem grabbed 61 rebounds against CEZ Nymburk, the most in a single game for any team in BCL history.
  • Petrol Olimpija bench players combined for 67 points against Neptunas Klaipeda, the most any bench unit have scored in a single BCL game this season.
