Basketball Champions League working groups meet in Munich

MUNICH, Germany - The two working groups formed by FIBA and the European domestic leagues to scrutinise the details of the governance and competition structures of the new Basketball Champions League met in Munich on Thursday.

Both groups explored all different aspects of the organisation of the new club competition and made a number of important recommendations which are expected to be discussed by FIBA's Executive Committee at its next meeting on Tuesday-Wednesday 19-20 January.

The two working groups are scheduled to meet again in Mies, Switzerland on Wednesday 27 January.

The Basketball Champions League is set to launch for the 2016-17 season.
