MIES, Switzerland (Basketball Champions League) - Let's have a look at some key facts for this week's Game of the Week in each group.

Group A: EWE Baskets Oldenburg (GER) v Dinamo Sassari (ITA)

  • EWE Baskets have scored 709 points in the Regular Season so far. They are the most prolific scoring team in the BCL and the only team to have reached the 700 points mark after the first 8 games.
  • EWE Baskets have won three of their four home games in the BCL, their only defeat was against Enisey Krasnoyarsk (86-89) on GD1, their only home game in which they have scored less than 90 points.
  • Dinamo Sassari have won all their three games in which they forced their opponents to score less than 80 points.
  • EWE Baskets Oldenburg are leading the league in 3-points shooting percentage, scoring 44.5% of their attempts. The Germans are also the best team when shooting from the line, scoring 82.1% of their free-throws attempted.
  • Rickey Paulding scored 34 points in the win against Juventus Utena (15th November), a season high in points scored in a single game.



Group B: MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg (GER) vs Iberostar Tenerife (ESP)

  • MHP Riesen have won seven of their eight BCL games this season but their only defeat was against Iberostar Tenerife (82-72) in GD2.
  • Iberostar Tenerife have won their last three games played away from home, their last defeat happening in GD1 while visiting Ventspils (73-72).
  • Only AS Monaco (66.4) have conceded fewer points per games than Iberostar Tenerife (67.4) in the BCL this season.
  • This game will be a duel at the boards, Iberostar Tenerife having grabbed an average of 40.6 rebounds per game, more than any other team, while MHP Riesen have taken the most offensive rebounds, with 13.9 per game.
  • Dwayne Evans grabbed 14 rebounds against Capo d’Orlando, a joint-high in a BCL game this season.



Group C: Petrol Olimpija (SLO) vs Banvit (TUR)

  • Banvit won 87-83 after one overtime the only previous meeting between these teams in the BCL, it was in GD2 this season.
  • Petrol Olimpija have won their last two games in the BCL, a first time for them in the competition.
  • Banvit have lost three of their four away games this season in the BCL, including a 48-49 defeat against Rosa Radom, the first time ever that a BCL game ended with fewer than 100 points scored.
  • Petrol Olimpija and Banvit (both 4) are 2 of the 4 teams to have seen 4+ double-double by their players this season in the BCL.
  • Petrol Olimpija’s Jordan Morgan has scored the most points (143) among the players who are yet to attempt a single three-pointer.



Group D: Aris (GRE) vs CEZ Nymburk (CZE)

  • Aris have lost two of their three previous encounters in the BCL against CEZ Nymburk, including the one this season in GD2 (70-99), their heaviest defeat in a BCL game.
  • After their win against Stelmet Zielona Gora on GD8 (80-72), Aris are aiming to win consecutive games for the first time this season in the BCL.
  • CEZ Nymburk have won their last three games in the BCL, only Monaco (9) and MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg (6) are on a better run.
  • Only SikeliArchivi Capo d'Orlando (63.4) have scored fewer points per game than Aris (68.3) this season in the BCL.
  • Only 2 players have averaged more assists per game than Nymburk’s Eugene Lawrence (6.0) in the BCL this season.
