Play-Ins Week 3 Preview

MIES (Switzerland) - While four of the eight Play-In series ended with two game sweeps, the other four series are still up for grabs after going to a deciding Game 3. Bahcesehir College and Rytas Vilnius will be looking to win on their home courts and clinch spots in the Round of 16 in the first two games on Tuesday January 17.

MHP RIESEN will then attempt to win their do-or-die game in front of their home fans on Wednesday January 18.

Game 2: Limoges won 82-62

  • RIESEN have won 14 of their 15 BCL games at home when scoring 85 or more points and only four of their last 17 home games when scoring below that mark; they have won three of their four games at home against French teams in BCL history.
  • RIESEN have had 75.8 possessions per game, the second highest average amongst all teams in the BCL this season – only Bakken Bears have had more than them (76.1); the German side have scored 17.6 points per game off second chance situations, the most of any team in the league in 2022-23.
  • Limoges have won four of their last five BCL games, including their most recent encounter with RIESEN (82-62), after winning just two of their previous nine league games; the French side made more than 80 points in each of their last two BCL games, first time scoring that many in consecutive games.

  • Wilfried Yeguete has grabbed 9+ rebounds in three of his last four BCL games with Limoges; he is currently ranked 11th all-time amongst players with the most rebounds (271) and is 15 rebounds away to reaching the nineth place (Suleiman Braimoh and Gasper Vidmar, both 285 rebounds).

Bahcesehir College v Filou Oostende (Series tied 1-1)

When: 18:00 CET

Game 1: Oostende won 76-72

Game 2: Bahcesehir won 77-64

  • Oostende have won their last three away games in the BCL, and a win here will see them matching their longest winning streak away from home (four wins between November 2018 and January 2019); all four of Oostende's away games this season ended with margins of nine or fewer points.
  • Oostende have grabbed 78.5 percent of the rebounds on the defensive end, the highest rebounding ratio of any team in the BCL this season; only Unicaja have allowed fewer offensive rebounds per game to their opponents (6.7) than Oostende in the league this term (7.6).
