MIES (Switzerland) - The Basketball Champions League Season Six starts next week. There are eight groups of four teams, the first three will advance to the next phase, with the group winners going straight into the Round of 16, while the second- and third-placed teams advancing to the Play-In series for their spot in the sweet sixteen group stage.

Group D will see perennial contenders AEK, with a completely new roster and a new coach to guide them back to the top. Nutribullet Treviso are about to make their European debut after winning the Qualifying Rounds, and Falco Szombathely and VEF Riga became regulars in the BCL, thanks to their domestic success over the past three years.
