MIES (Switzerland) - The Basketball Champions League Season Six starts next week. There are eight groups of four teams, the first three will advance to the next phase, with the group winners going straight into the Round of 16, while the second- and third-placed teams advancing to the Play-In series for their spot in the sweet sixteen group stage.

Group A will see perennial contenders Lenovo Tenerife matched up against another black-and-yellow squad in MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg. The Germans are making a comeback to the competition after a two season long sabbatical. Banco di Sardegna Sassari will try and make it back to the Play-Offs, while Prometey come in as Ukrainian champions, becoming the first team from Ukraine in the BCL since Khimik Yuzhne back in 2016-17.
