Pszczółka Start Lublin are about to enter the fifth year of David Dedek's tenure which marks a milestone in club history, as they will participate in a European competition for the first ever time after the Slovenian coach steered them to second place in the shortened (due to the pandemic) Polish Energa Basket Liga season.

The latest addition to the 2020-21 roster is Dutch international Yannick Franke, who started the season at French side Nancy and averaged 10 points and 2.3 rebounds per game in the Pro B.

Previously, Lublin had signed Polish international Kamil Laczynski, a two-time PLK league champion with Anwil, the club  with which he participated in the 2018-29 edition of the BCL. The veteran point guard spent the 2019-20 season at Wroclaw and averaged 10.3 points and 6.4 assists per game in the Energa Basket Liga.

Lublin had earlier signed another veteran in center Adam Kemp, who spent last season at fellow Polish side Enea Astoria Bydgoszcz. The 30-year-old big man averaged 10.6 points and 7.1 rebounds in the 2019-20 Energa Basket Liga.

Lublin had previously penned point guard Lester Medford, but parted ways with the 27-year-old American played on December 3rd, after he featured in the first two games of the BCL Regular Season averaging 6.5 points and 6.5 assists per contest.

The Polish club have also added guard Sherron Dorsey Walker, who is coming off a three-year stint at Dutch side Landstede Zwolle, and swingman Armani Moore, who however departed the club in late November.

The 27-year-old Walker averaged 12.4 points and 2.4 assists per game in the Dutch league and 16.7 points with 2.7 assists in the FIBA Europe Cup.

Moore has previous Basketball Champions League experience, with Oldenburg and with Zielona Gora, as he played for both those teams in 2017-18, when they competed in the BCL.
