Start Lublin Transfer Watch

Start Lublin are about to enter the fifth year of David Dedek's tenure which marks a milestone in club history, as they will participate in a European competition for the first ever time after the Slovenian coach steered them to second place in the shortened (due to the pandemic) PLK league season.

The latest addition to Lublin's 2020-21 roster is point guard Lester Medford, who brings to the table some much needed experience of the BCL. The 27-year-old American played for VEF Riga in 2019-20 averaging 14.1 points and 6.2 assists in the BCL Regular Season, alongside 11.8 points and 6.3 assists per game in the Latvian-Estonian league.

The Polish club have also added guard Sherron Dorsey Walker, who is coming off a three-year stint at Dutch side Landstede Zwolle, and swingman Armani Moore who finished the 2019-20 season at Oldenburg but has previous experience from the Polish league.

The 27-year-old Walker averaged 12.4 points and 2.4 assists per game in the Dutch league and 16.7 points with 2.7 assists in the FIBA Europe Cup. Meanwhile Moore started the 2019-20 season at Polish side Asseco Gdynia and averaged 7.3 points and 4.5 boards in the PLK, while after joining Oldenburg in December he averaged 11 points and 4.3 rebounds in the German BBL.

Moore has previous Basketball Champions League experience, with Oldenburg and with Zielona Gora, as he played for both those teams in 2017-18, when they competed in the BCL.
