Klassen with the rebounds record and 12 other facts you might have missed this week

MIES (Switzerland) - The eleventh week of the Basketball Champions League season is just behind us. The perfect time to have a look a some key facts to take away after this week's games.

Teams

  • Fribourg Olympic made only one 3-pointer tonight against Telekom Baskets Bonn, joint-lowest tally in a BCL game 2018/19. The only other time it happened before this season was in the reverse fixture on Gameday 4: Fribourg Olympic already made only one 3-pointer at home against Telekom Baskets Bonn.
  • Besiktas' 96 points against Promitheas Patras are their best tally in a BCL game this season.
  • SIG Strasbourg have lost three of their last four home games in BCL, after having lost only two of their first 19 home games. It’s the first time that they lost with a double-digit margin on their home court (80-90).
  • Fribourg Olympic scored 52 points in the paint against Telekom Baskets Bonn: they are only the second team in BCL this season scoring 50+ points in the paint in more than one game (Banvit have done it three times).
  • Opava have allowed their opponents to tally 30+ assists for the third game in BCL this season – no other team have allowed 30+ assists in more than one BCL game in 2018/19.
  • Neptunas Klaipeda scored 63% of their 16 attempts from behind the arc against SIG Strasbourg; they are only the second team in BCL this season to have scored 60% or more of their attempted 3-pointers in a single game.
