Road to Play-Offs overview

MIES, Switzerland (Basketball Champions League) - With the completion of Gameday 13, there is only one week of competition left in the Regular Season. 11 teams have already qualified and are assured to participate in the next phase of the Basketball Champions League: AS Monaco (FRA), Banvit (TUR), Besiktas Sompo Japan (TUR), CEZ Nymburk (CZE), EWE Baskets Oldenburg (GER), Iberostar Tenerife (ESP), MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg (GER), Nanterre 92 (FRA), Neptunas Klaipeda (LTU), Pinar Karsiyaka (TUR), and UCAM Murcia (ESP).

As a reminder, in case of tied teams, the classification will follow the Official Basketball Rules, saying that "If 2 or more teams have the same win-loss record of all games in the group, the game(s) between these 2 or more teams shall decide on the classification. If the 2 or more teams have the same win-loss record of the games between them, further criteria will be applied in the following order:
- Higher goal difference of the games between them,
- Higher number of goals scored in the games between them,
- Higher goal difference of all games in the group,
- Higher number of goals scored in all games in the group.
If still tied before all games have been played in the group, tied teams shall share the same ranking. If these criteria still cannot decide at the end of the group phase, a draw shall decide on the final classification.

If at any level of these criteria one or more team(s) can be classified, the procedure above shall be repeated from the beginning for all the remaining teams not classified yet."

The first 4 teams in each group will qualify for the Play-Offs, while the teams finishing 5th and 6th will earn the right to participate to FIBA Europe Cup's Round of 16.
