Estu OT win against Groningen seals Regular Season berth
MADRID (Basketball Champions League) - Movistar Estudiantes edged Donar Groningen, 77-69, in overtime on Monday night to clinch a spot in the Basketball Champions League Regular Season.

In the Qualification Round 3 tie, the teams finished 76-76 in Friday's first encounter to set up an intriguing return game in the Spanish capital and the contest was close from start to finish.
With the score level at 58-58 after three quarters, both sides scored 7 apiece in the fourth and the game went to the extra period.
A Drago Pasalic jumper put the visitors in front but Alec Brown leveled the score at 67-67 with a layup and then Sylven Landesberg hit a pair of free-throws to put the hosts in front to stay. They ended up outscoring the Dutch side, 12-4, in overtime.
Landesberg led all scorers with 17 points. Estu will play in Group C of the Basketball Champions League with Banvit, SIG Strasbourg, Rosa Radom, medi Bayreuth, AEK, Petrol Olimpija and Umana Reyer Venezia.
