Which playmaker is the most difficult to guard?

We are at the half-way mark of the Basketball Champions League regular season and one thing is apparent. There are numerous point guards in the competition that make them very difficult to defend. Jordan Theodore of Banvit, Kevin Dillard of Pinar Karsiyaka, Joe Ragland of Sidigas Avellino and Finland international Teemu Rannikko of Kataja Basket all fit this category, but which one is the most hardest to guard?

Kevin Dillard (7.6ppg, 4.7apg)

You can only feel sorry for the man assigned the task of having to guard Kevin Dillard because the Pinar Karsiyaka playmaker knows how to shake and bake. He can do it all, and he does so with flair.

Jordan Theodore (14.3ppg, 6.2apg)

Theodore is such a gifted scorer that when he puts the ball on the floor and drives to the basket, he's almost always going to draw a double-team. So his teammates had better be ready for the pass because it's on the way.

Joe Ragland (17.8ppg, 6apg)

Explosive is what comes to mind when you see the name Joe Ragland of Sidigas Avellino. The 27-year-old can shoot it from long range and he also has a quick first step and tremendous leaping ability.

Teemu Rannikko (10.4ppg, 5.9apg)

Teemu Ranniko has always been a threat from deep but the 36-year-old's ability to pass the ball is what makes him tough to go up against whether it's during an out-of-bounds play, a fast break or a half-court set.
