MVP Brazelton promises to give 100% for Rosa in every game

RADOM (Basketball Champions League) – Rosa Radom's Tyrone Brazelton would have entered the history books anyway, by virtue of being the first ever weekly MVP in the history of the Basketball Champions League, but he chose to do so in memorable fashion.

"The crazy thing is that down the stretch during the overtimes I was so focused on finishing the game with a win that I didn't even think about being tired or fatigued."- Brazelton

The 30-year-old American point guard poured in a new competition-high 36 points as he played during an eye-popping 47 minutes and 34 seconds in the Polish team's 93-85 win over PAOK after a triple-overtime gripping drama in the opening week of the Regular Season. The most surprising thing about his performance is that he barely even noticed that he'd d spent quite a long time on the floor.

"I came to the gym on game day expecting to put in all the effort and focus that was needed to help my team get a victory," Brazelton explained to www.championsleague.basketball. "The crazy thing is that down the stretch during the overtimes I was so focused on finishing the game with a win that I didn't even think about being tired or fatigued at all. I was too focused on winning because this was a very important game for our team."

"People can expect me to give 100% effort in trying to lead my team to a victory every time I step on the basketball court" - Brazelton

Brazelton cannot guarantee Rosa fans that he will score 36 points in every game, but he will do everything within his power to help Rosa build on their winning start in Group C.

"People can expect me to give 100% effort in trying to lead my team to a victory every time I step on the basketball court," the point guard said. "If I play well or others on my team play well and we get the victory, then that means I've done my job as a leader!"

"I think we have a good team and can compete with any team in our group. We only focus on one game at a time. Our coach does a great job of preparing us for the games we have ahead of us. We will continue to just worry about every game as they come and let the chips fall where they may."
