High-octane Tenerife hit century mark in style

TENERIFE (Basketball Champions League) – Iberostar Tenerife continue at the summit of Group D  in considerable style, as they blew past KK Mornar 103-57 in front of a near capacity crowd at Santiago Martin arena on Wednesday night to go 2-0 in the standings.

The Spanish side started off on an unprecedented 24-0 run as they seemed determined to share with Avtodor Saratov the boasting rights of becoming the first teams to score a century in the Basketball Champions League.

Carl English went 6-of-7 from three-point range and finished with 22 points and four assists, Davin White had 15 points and five assists while Aaron Doonerkamp and Will Hanley scored 13 points apiece.

Tenerife shot a scandalous 62% from dowtown (13-of-21) and scored 25 of their points on the fast break as they established a relentless fast pace during their fantastic first-quarter stretch.
