A fab five in latest Team of the Week

There were plenty of standout performances in Gameday 4 of the Basketball Champions League but several stood above the rest. In addition to Vlado Jankovic, who claimed the MVP honor, there was another fantastic four. Here is the Team of the Week.

Guard: J’Covan Marquis Brown

The 26-year-old from Texas put on a masterful display for Pinar Karsiyaka, pouring in 22 points and coming up a rebound and an assist shy of a triple-double. Brown was terrific. He also came up with a steal and had just one turnover.

Guard: Daniel Mullings

The 1.88m Mullings brings a lot to the table for Kataja Basket, including a fearless approach that he uses when attacking the rim at every opportunity. He was menace for the Finns in their win at Khimik, scoring 23 points, corralling 8 rebounds and handing out 7 assists. While he was 1 of 6 at the free-throw line, he still finished with an overall efficiency of mark of 29.

Small Forward: Vlado Jankovic

Jankovic's Basketball Champions League baptism was a great one

Aris fans are sure glad the Greek Jankovic has joined the club on loan for the remainder of the season from Valencia Basket because he was rock solid on his Basketball Champions League debut against Banvit with 19 points and 10 rebounds. He also showed how complete of a player he is, knocking down 2 of his 3 shots from 3-point range while on defense the 26-year-old had 3 steals.

Power Forward: Jack Cooley

Cooley was a mix of power and finesse on Wednesday as MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg saw off a determined effort by Proximus Spirou to win for the second time in a row. Cooley made all 13 of his shots around the basket and walked off the court after his dominating effort with a game-high 31 points and 7 rebounds, and a sky-high efficiency rating of 37.

Center: Ante Zizic

At 2.10m in height and with a muscular, well-chiseled frame, Zizic is doing the business week in and week out for Cibona. The 19-year-old didn't miss any of his 9 shots from the floor and finished with 21 points in just 23 minutes of the Croatian club's 90-72 victory over KK Mornar.
